What are my visa approval chances? Take the free test

Before you pay the €90 fee and book an appointment, it's worth knowing how your file actually looks to a visa officer. Our researchers turned published EC refusal statistics, consulate requirements and thousands of applicant reports into a 12-question assessment that scores your profile the way consulates weigh it: finances, ties, history, and documentation.

It takes about two minutes, needs no personal data, and ends with your biggest weaknesses and exactly how to fix each one before you apply.

Question 1 of 12

What passport are you applying with?

Based on 2023–2024 EC refusal statistics for your nationality.

Half of all refusals are booking & paperwork problems. We fix those.

HatVisa prepares the exact documents consulates check first: a verifiable flight reservation with a real PNR, a confirmable hotel booking, compliant travel insurance, a professional cover letter and a day-by-day trip plan — consistent with each other, matching your dates, ready to submit.

Frequently asked questions

Is this an official assessment?

No. It is a research-based estimate built from published refusal statistics and consulate requirements. The final decision always belongs to the consulate — but the factors we score are the same ones officers document in refusal letters.

Do you store my answers?

No. The test runs entirely in your browser — nothing is sent to our servers, and nothing is stored after you close the page.

My score is low — should I still apply?

Usually not immediately. A refusal costs the €90 fee and goes on your VIS record, making the next application harder. Most weaknesses the test finds (bank balance, statement seasoning, missing documents, ties) can be fixed in 2–3 months — a short delay beats a recorded refusal.

What score do I need to be “safe”?

There is no guaranteed number — consulates decide case by case. As a rule of thumb from our research: 75+ profiles are routinely approved, 60–74 are approvable with clean paperwork, 45–59 hinge entirely on preparation, and below 45 we recommend fixing the flagged factors before applying.
